Meg was born into a family of actors, writers, musicians and performers. After piano lessons at an early age, she discovered guitar and ukulele were the inspiration that would turn her poetry into music. She won her first songwriting award in a Junior Miss Pageant and gained the confidence needed for public performing. Strongly influenced by the folk and pop music of the 60's, as well as the voices of Linda Rondstadt, Emmylou Harris, and Connie Francis, Meg performed solo, in duo's and folk bands. She released her first CD of original songs with lifelong friend Robyn Ledoux in 1996.

Meg went solo in 2001 when she became a finalist in the Vermont State Song Competition sponsored by the Vermont Arts Council. She released her second CD, 'GROUNDED' in 2002, followed by the 2005 release of her third record, 'ROCK SOLID ROMANCIN'. Meg is a member of BMI, and joined NSAI( the Nashville Songwriters Association International) where she met co-writer Stan Lyness. Performing around New England, Meg has opened for Dave Mallet, Bill Staines , and Jon Ims.
